Five days Training cum Demonstration programme on “Post-harvest Management of seasonal fruits” which was commenced from 7/08/2024 concluded on 12/08/2024 at KVK Chandel. The programme was organized by KVK Chandel under 100 days Action Plan. Dr. A. Ameeta Devi, Sr. Scientist and Head of ICAR-KVK in her speech stressed to double income of the farmers to sustain their livelihood through implementing the training gained from the experts. Dr. Y. Prabhabati Devi, SMS (Home Science) and Course Coordinator of the programme gave the keynote address. During the training programme, hands on training on processing of seasonal fruits like jackfruit, passionfruit, pineapple and lime were conducted. During the valedictory session, certificates and inputs like small equipments and packaging materials were distributed to the trainees. The programme was also attended by 25 trainees and staff of KVK Chandel.
